A detail view of an intersection, downtown Wilkes-Barre, PA., with an emphasis of patterns vertical vs horizontal, and the interplay, meshing of the old and the new. There�s a relatively new mixed-use (retail and offices) building at left, built after the devastating Agnes Flood - the Bicentennial Building, facing Public Square; as well as an older structure across the street, still facing the square, and part of the PNC bank building beyond, on Market St. The flags add to the energy in this view.
