Spring has sprung in downtown WilkesBarre, PA! Blossoms, green grass! Sunny! YAY!
I'm looking across Public Square from the side nearest the Susquehanna River at Bicentennial Building and Circles on the Square, El Zocalo, La Toscana restaurants; near the intersection at building with Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce & Luzerne County Community College (Lccc) ; looking at the bandstand with Third Friday Wilkes-Barre Diamond City Art Walk banner . The former MArtz building & Geisinger building are behind the trees... then it's East Market Street. You can see the red brick City Hall beyond... Facing Public Square are the F.M. Kirby Center for the perfoming arts, the towering Luzerne Bank Building, casual Franklin's Bar. The Christopher Columbus statue is near the picnic tables where Wilkes University, King's College students, or downtown workers can eat lunch in the fresh air... I spy a WNEP Newswatch 16 van in the foreground! (I think I covered just about everything).
