The 4th of July festivities could be seen throughout our Wyoming Valley. I perched myself at a window and could see and hear fireworks all around me as we all celebrated our independence. This photo is my favorite: part of the grand finale at Kirby Park in Kingston, down-river, on the other side of the Susquehanna river. It�s monochromatic, only white, seemingly serene in its beauty yet full of life and cheerfulness. The treetops added a nice framing effect.
This cheerful celebration and the warm, bright fireworks are great representations of warmest wishes for many different occasions.
