Artist's Description
With a little imagination, Hang Tight, could be for the corroded pipe trying to hang on, stand tall, against the forces of the invasive vine, or it could be for the vine, finding someplace to loop itself around as it did here, tying a tendril into a knot for support... then again, I almost called this Stranglehold. What a statement! There’s so much energy and life in this scene: vibrant, shiny green leaves cascading around a contrasting reddish rusty pipe, showing its age as it slumps, leaning to one side. But still holding on, hanging tight.

Very thoughtful image, makes me wonder how many seasons it took that pipe to acquire the current patina. Who put it there and when for what purpose....all kinds of wonderment around us! Well done Chirstina.
Christina Verdgeline replied:
Yes, Skip, some things I see with that kind of character gets me thinking, too. I'm surprised that pipe is still where it is. interesting patina. Thanks!
