We don’t see many monarch butterflies at all lately. They are diminishing... BUT since we planted a butterfly bush in the garden, they have somewhere to stop and rest, have a spot of lunch, before continuing on their travels in migration. I don’t think this species of butterfly eats from as much a variety of flowers as other butterflies. This beauty hung around all day! Regal! Spent some time on the milkweed also. A wonder of nature.
