I have a special affinity to snow and all its different forms, having worked out in it for so long. It's great to see a composition about it in this way!

Artist's Description

Public Square, downtown Wilkes-Barre, PA, This was taken mid-November when the area received its first snowfall for the season. This closeup detail shows colorful leaves recently having fallen from the trees, with the snow already melting that morning, probably since the ground hasn’t frozen too cold yet this early in the season. There’s a part of the outside edge if what used to be a working fountain directly in the center of Public Square. The brick pavers, if I remember correctly from a long time ago, are interspersed with pavers that have names of people which were made by local citizens’ donations. I’ll add more background on that once I find out additional information.
